Begin the recipe by proofing the yeast. Let it sit until the mixture is foamy. Once the yeast is proofed, add olive oil and stir to combine.

Then, add flour and salt and mix with dough hook. Once the flour is incorporated, add additional flour  at a time until dough forms a slightly sticky/tacky ball on the dough hook.

Next, remove the dough to a well-floured surface and knead, adding more flour as needed until ball is smooth and only slightly sticky.

Then, transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl covered with a damp towel in a warm place to rise until doubled.
