Notes
*Note: we prefer to keep the skins on our French fries. If you prefer, peel the potatoes first then cut them. ** Note. the thickness of the french fries will determine baking time. Thicker fries take longer to cook, while thinner fries cook faster.Ingredient Notes & Substitutions
Potatoes. I recommend Yukon gold or russet potatoes for the best results.
Olive oil. Use pure, organic olive oil for the best flavor. Avocado oil is a good choice.
Fine sea salt.I always use this fine mineral sea salt - highly recommend. You can use regular salt, you may just need to decrease the amount slightly.
Store/freezeStore oven baked french fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.ReheatI suggest reheating the baked french fries on a baking sheet in your oven set ot 350 degrees F to restore their crispiness. You can warm them in the microwave and they will be delicious, but soft.
