These chocolate dipped frozen bananas are an easy treat made with 3 ingredients (plus your favorite toppings). They have a thick, rich chocolate coating and you can make them any size you choose!
Carefully place a stick in the end of each banana (if using halves or full bananas).
Put the banana pieces on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or wax paper.
Then, put the baking sheet with the bananas in the freezer until they're completely frozen through - about 4 hours or overnight.
Once frozen, melt the milk and semisweet chocolate either over a double boiler or in the microwave. Stir until smooth, glossy and thin.
Transfer the melted chocolate to a tall, skinny glass.
Then, dip each frozen banana into the chocolate, and shake so the excess chocolate drips off back into the glass.
Carefully place the bananas back on the lined baking sheet.
If desired, top with your favorite toppings.
Return to the freezer until completely frozen.
Remove from the freezer about 3 minutes before serving so they can soften slightly. Serve frozen.

Notes
*Note on banana sizeYou can dip full bananas (which are harder to dip), cut the bananas in half, fourths, or bite-sized thick slices. For small slices, cut them into the desired sizes and place on a baking sheet without sticks. Use a fork to dip them into the chocolate in a shallow bowl instead of a skinny glass. Ingredient Notes
Bananas. Make sure your bananas are ripe but still firm. You don't want to use mushy, overripe bananas in this recipe.
Semisweet and milk chocolate.the quality of the chocolate matters. Use high-quality chocolate. You can use discs, bars, etc. Or you can switch up the chocolate and use dark instead of semisweet, or all one type if you prefer.
