This maple bacon recipe will be your new favorite way to eat bacon! Bacon is brushed with pure maple syrup, baked until caramelized & sprinkled with flaky sea salt for the perfect sweet and salty snack or side dish!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius). Line a large plate with paper towels.
Put a wire rack on a large baking sheet. Evenly space bacon on the rack.
Brush each the top of each piece of bacon with maple syrup.
Bake for 18-25 minutes until bacon is done (this varies a lot depending on how thick your bacon is).
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle each piece very lightly with flaky sea salt (if desired).
Transfer the bacon to the paper towel lined plate to cool slightly before serving.

Bacon. make sure the bacon isn't too thin - so preferably a medium/thick cut. And choose your favorite variety.
Maple syrup. only use pure maple syrup for the best results.
Flaky sea salt. is optional and might not be necessary if you find the bacon salty enough on its own.
StoreI suggest storing this maple bacon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop over low heat or in the oven set to warm.
