Make the best matcha latte at home with this recipe! With only 5 ingredients in 5 minutes you can make an iced matcha latte or hot matcha latte that's even more delicious than your favorite coffee shop!
Whisk boiling water and matcha powder together in a mug (at least 12 ounce capacity) until matcha is dissolved, using a small metal whisk or bamboo matcha whisk (chasen).
Then whisk in honey and vanilla.
Froth the milk in an electric milk frother (or use a handheld frother and froth by hand), then pour the frothed milk into matcha mixture in the mug, stir and serve warm.
For an Iced Matcha Latte
Whisk boiling water and matcha powder together in a glass (at least 12 ounce capacity) until matcha is dissolved.
Then whisk in honey and vanilla.
Froth the milk in an electric milk frother (or use a handheld frother and froth by hand), then pour the frothed milk into matcha mixture in the mug.
Add ½ to 1 cup of ice (depending on your preference) to the glass, stir and enjoy cold.
