In this pomegranate smoothie recipe, pomegranates, beets, spinach and bananas are blended together for a delicious & nutritious breakfast, rich in antioxidants.
Place the ingredients in the order listed into the container of a Vitamix (or other high-powered blender).
Blend starting on low speed and increasing to high for 60-90 seconds or until smooth.
Pour and serve immediately.

Ingredient Substitutions
Almond milk. Substitute any milk you'd prefer in this recipe - dairy milk, coconut milk, oat milk etc.
Honey. If you like your smoothies a bit more tart you can omit the honey. I have found that in order for my kids to love smoothies I need to add at least 1 TBS of honey. Use maple syrup for a vegan version.
Spinach. Any leafy greens work well in this recipe! I suggest spinach and kale.
