In this easy rice crispy dessert sushi recipe, a delicious rice crispy layer is rolled around your favorite fillings & candies for a fun and whimsical treat!
Add graham crackers, powdered sugar and salt and stir until combined.
Roll into a log the size and shape of your sushi.
Place in freezer while you make the rice krispes.
Make the Rice Krispe Wrapper:
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat and lightly grease, set aside.
Gather all your sushi filling ingredients and set them near your pan. You will need to work quickly.
Measure crispy rice cereal into a bowl.
In a medium saucepan melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring often until the mixture is smooth and all the marshmallows are melted.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and sea salt.
Add the cereal and stir to combine.
Quickly pour the rice crispy mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a greased spatula or your greased hands to evenly spread out the mixture into a large rectangle.
Assemble
Cut the rice crispy rectangle into 3 or 4 smaller rectangles widthwise.
Put 4 “rows” of fillings (see photos) onto each rectangle, leaving about 3 inches of space at the end.
Use the parchment paper to roll each one into a log, carefully pulling it away as you go.
If desired, sprinkle your the with graham cracker crumbs, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc.
Slice into 1” thick pieces and serve.

Marshmallows.Mini marshmallows work the best when making rice crispy treats because they melt faster.
Salted Butter. unsalted butter is a good substitute.
Fillings. choose your favorite candies or make the peanut butter "logs" described in the recipe. Spreads like Nutella, marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, etc. are also great choices.
