How to Make Vegan Chocolate Fondue
This vegan chocolate fondue can be made in two ways – either on the stovetop or in the blender. We’ll walk through both options step-by-step, and don’t forget to watch the video.
On the Stovetop
To make on the stovetop, begin by combining the coconut cream, cocoa powder, sugar and salt in a medium saucepan.
Then, heat over medium heat until the mixture just begins to boil (bubbles on the sides of the pan). Then add the chocolate and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
Use a Vitamix
To make this recipe, put most of the ingredients in the Vitamix and blend for 1 minute. This will heat up the wet ingredients just in time to add the chocolate and blend for 4 more minutes.
As the mixture continues to heat up, the chocolate will melt and the mixture will become velvety smooth. Once the fondueย has reached a creamy consistency, add a splash of vanilla, pulse and serve.
Serve
Pour the vegan chocolate fondue into a fondue pot to keep it warm, or in a small serving bowl. You can keep it warm by lighting a tea candle under a serving bowl, or putting it on a warmer.
The recipe thickens as it cools, so it’s important to keep it warm or eat it quickly.
