Once you make this cinnamon honey butter you will want to slather it on everything.

It’s incredibly easy to make with 5 ingredients in 5 minutes, it tastes even better than the Texas Roadhouse butter, and you can make it in the comfort of your own home.

This honey butter makes any meal special. Slather some on fresh baked cornbread (and eat it with this chili). Take your breakfast to the next level by spreading it on top. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, banana bread. The possibilities are truly endless.

My kids adore this Texas Roadhouse butter and ask for cornbread just so they can eat it. They take a bite, strategically placing their mouths so that they consume all of the honey butter in one shot. Then they exclaim “I need more butter mom, it’s all gone!” Can’t argue with that right?

Cinnamon Honey Butter: Ingredients & Substitutions

The only thing to note about the ingredients is that the butter needs to be softened to room temperature.

  • Salted Butter. Unsalted butter works well, so does vegan butter.
  • Powdered Sugar. you can substitute homemade refined-sugar free powdered sugar click here for the recipe: paleo powdered sugar recipe.
  • Honey. Maple syrup can be used in place of honey for another delicious option. I love both of them equally. Obviously maple syrup will impart a slight maple taste, which compliments fall foods (like this apple cinnamon baked oatmeal or these pumpkin muffins).
  • Vanilla Extract. the seeds of one vanilla bean or vanilla bean paste are both good substitutes.

Super yummy!! I think it has more of a cinnamon flavor than the texas road house recipe but honestly I loved that! It made my homemade sweet rolls taste like cinnamon rolls. This went very fast at thanksgiving!

Oh my Yumness!! We ate it with baked sweet potatoes and will begin eating it on absolutely everything as soon as I make more. Would recommend making this in larger quantities as I will from now on!

This one is definitely a keeper!! I made a big batch to take to our pancake breakfast at church tomorrow. They are going to love it!! I only added half as much honey, since mine is fairly strong in flavor and we have diabetics in our congregation.

I really think this is even better! A+ from me and my four picky teenagers who never like anything other than the โ€œrealโ€ thing.

  5. I like the fact this recipe calls for โ€œbutterโ€ because Texas Roadhouse only uses margarine. I am someone who does not eat margarine, I only use real butter, Iโ€™ve inquired about Texas Roadhouse having real butter, they do not.

This cinnamon honey butter recipe is fantastic! I made cinnamon bread and used this as a spread and my family could not get enough of it! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Thank you so much for this recipe! It is absolutely delicious! I made this for a family dinner and my body building son who never eats this kind of thing or asks to take leftovers home, (except the night I made this cinnamon honey butter) said, โ€œmom can I have the leftover butter it is so delicious?โ€ I couldnโ€™t believe my ears!
