This roasted green beans recipe is very simple. We’ll walk through how to roast green beans together step-by-step, and don’t forget to watch the video

To being, preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit – I find this is the perfect temperature to get wonderfully crispy green beans without drying them out.

Then wash and trim the ends off of the green beans. Make sure they are dry before proceeding with the recipe.

I have used this recipe for many years and we have always loved it. I switched it up a few years back by eliminating the olive oil and went to bacon grease and a couple chopped slices of ษ“acon to it. You know the saying ” Everything tastes better with bacon. I know that eoo or oo is much better than the cholesterol laden bacon and its wonderfully flavor. I love this recipe just have switched it a bit because of the bacon fanatics.

Looking for something different yet quick for dinner and came across this recipe. I keep frozen green beans on hand and had all the seasonings so I was in luck. I did make a few small additions as we like things spicy. So I added a tsp of spicy salsa verde, a couple of dashes of Worcestershire sauce, some blackening seasoning. Put it under the broiler vs regular oven and the last couple of minutes added about a tbs or Kraft Habanero cheese. This dish came out so delicious!!

Exactly what I was looking for on a busy work night. I ran out of olive oil and use butter and even skipped the garlic to cut time and they turned out great. Excellent way to make a quick and easy veggie side!

  4. I am seriously thinking about trying this with canned green beans tonight to go along with a yummy Italian chicken pasta. I don’t have fresh or frozen beans but I have like 20 cans so I’m going to try it out.
